Deluge Ultra High Flow Performance Relief Valves

Brownell has introduced a range of Ultra High Flow Performance Relief Valves with standard sizes of 25 mm to 200 mm. An unusual operating characteristic for this pressure relief valve is proportional decrease in back pressure after the relief valve has opened at the set pressure and increased flow is required.

This allows a significantly high increase in gas flow when compared to similar size pressure relief valves and are suitable for over pressures in pipelines, pressure vessels, storage vessels, equipment containers and safety relief applications

The standard specification for pressure settings is from 0.5 to 5 psi for opening pressures and vacuum relief. The pressure relief valve can operate in aggressive environments including corrosive chemicals, driving rain, low and high temperatures. A weather and impact shield provides further mechanical and physical protection.

Additional features options also include debris filter, EMC screening and manual relief override.

Relative humidity indicator papers are versatile

Brownell manufactures a range of relative f humidity indicators which provide a signal of the relative humidity ranging from 10 to 80% rh.

50% rh is a typical relative humidity control level which is used in various industries to prevent the effects of humidity damaging products and components. Semi conductors and hygroscopic powders often require levels of humidity protection as low as 10%rh.

Relative humidity indicators can also be used in conjunction with desiccators, desiccant bags and moisture absorbers to provide an indication of when the desiccant is saturated and requires replacement or recharging. Humidity indicators can also be used to monitor the relative humidity inside cabinets storing antique items where low and high humidity can cause irreparable damage.

A distinctive colour change of blue to pink indicates the transition of the relative humidity from dry to wet. Relative humidity indicators are fully reversible and will change colour when dried with a desiccant or placed in a dry environment for example a glove box.

Relative humidity indicators can be fitted to panel mounting housings for viewing the internal relative humidity of an instrument or system.

Multiple level relative humidity indicator cards are commonly used for packaging application. Relative humidity indicators are available in a range of sizes for easy visibility when used inside a plastic storage bag or transit container.
