Extended life tank vent dryer is best for high use applications

A user adjustable atmospheric air bypass control designed into the Brownell X-TVD extended life tank vent dryer was developed to give extra assured protection to the many fluids sensitive to contamination by condensation and high humidity in higher usage applications not fully served by conventional units.

When tank contents are even partially discharged air is drawn in through the atmospheric vent and moisture in it can lead to contamination and loss of fluid properties or even freezing in sub-zero temperatures.

A vent dryer removes moisture to protect fluids but conventional units without a bypass are best suited to long-term slow discharge rate applications.  The Brownell X-TVD range can double the adsorbent life for applications where tank discharge and refilling occurs within weeks or months due to high demand and usage.

The bypass control allows a mixture of dry and atmospheric air to enter the air space above the tank at a controlled relative humidity which protects the hygroscopic fluids in the tank or reservoir from being contaminated with condensation and high humidity.

An integral sight window gives a visual indication of when the desiccant requires reactivation or replacement and a simple adaptor also prevents the release of unwanted vapours in to the atmosphere.  Tanks up to 500,000 litre capacity can be protected with a vent dryer.
