Products in Humidity Indicator Cards
It is important to monitor the relative humidity to maintain effective protection against moisture. The addition of a Humidity Indicator Card within the protective packaging or container will provide an economic and simple solution for monitoring relative humidity. A humidity level below 50% RH must be maintained to provide adequate protection against moisture damage.
Cards display a range of humidity levels, and each level is shown as a humidity indicator spot. These spots change colour from blue to pink when the humidity increases. This colour change provides a visual indication of the relative humidity within the package or container. Visual inspection of the card is an important check to determine whether the chosen method of moisture removal is still effective. The humidity Indicator spots are reversible, and will change back to blue when the humidity decreases.
