Pumped NEPS1000 Advantage is an ideal alternative if bottled dry gas is not available or cannot be handled or transported to the point of use. Dry air is generated by using the self contained pump and moisture adsorbing molecular sieves desiccant charge. The purge process is automatically controlled and monitored to maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of the dry air. The self contained unit is housed in a portable robust case and can be operated from a variable power supply of 100-230V ac 50-60 Hz.
Pumped NEPS1000 Advantage offers a range of selectable purge pressures, 10.3 kPa (1.5 PSI), 17.2 kPa (2.5 PSI) and 34.5 kPa (5.0 PSI). The unit can be easily programmed to set the desired dewpoint level and purge pressure. The liquid crystal displays on the control panel provide constant information and readouts during the purging operation. The unit can be programmed to display dewpoint temperature in °C or °F, and pressure in kPa or PSI.
Two other useful functions include the gas quality check and the equipment leak test. The gas check function uses the unit’s
dewpoint monitor to check the condition of the dry air before purging. To verify the sealing standard of the equipment, three
pressure settings are available for leak testing, 10.3 kPa (1.5 PSI), 17.2 kPa (2.5 PSI) and 34.5 kPa (5.0 PSI).
Pumped NEPS1000 Advantage contains approximately 1 Kilogram of molecular sieves desiccant which is capable of adsorbing
more than 20% of its own weight in moisture before it is saturated. The desiccant charge is contained in its own housing and can be
easily replaced when it becomes saturated.
