As the demands on equipment performance increase, the need for non-standard seals and mouldings in a material which has a wide temperature range has increased considerably.
Brownell has expanded its in-house manufacturing capacity to offer non-standard silicone rubber seals and mouldings for prototyping and low volume applications. A number of different grades of silicone rubber are available, and most are suitable for use between -55°C and +200°C.
Seals can be manufactured up to a maximum diameter of 400mm. Different types of cross-sections can be produced, ranging from standard square or round, to highly complex sections. Flat gaskets or similar shaped mouldings up to a maximum size of 400mm x 400mm can be produced.
